“I’ve always been drawn to pushing myself to extreme lengths and seeing what I’m capable of physically and mentally. I’m not sure what else to do with myself than push myself to the limit and see what’s possible with my time on Earth. While this is great for me personally and always has been, I couldn’t help but feel that there was some purpose missing. Sure pushing yourself is great for personal goals, but what’s my point to all of this? I struggled with this question, and finally, I decided that my purpose should be to help as many people as I can through what I believe are God-given blessings. I have health, I have the ability to push myself to great lengths, and it would be a shame if I kept this all to myself and never used it for a greater reason. My greatest motivation I decided is to help as many people, specifically kids, as possible. There is nobody more deserving of help than a kid who just wants a family that loves them and is there for them. Through the Miracle Foundation, I know they will get just that. Last year, we were able to raise 11K, and that was able to help 30 children find families, so imagine what we could do with 50K? The ripple effect of helping hundreds of kids who feel alone in this world cannot be emphasized enough. I feel thankful that I’m able to use every fiber of my being to chase this record again, but most importantly, help those who need it the most. Let’s work together to give every child a loving family.
